Myrtie Wheeler
Myrtie was a school teacher in Calais, Vermont. She wrote her diary in 1899 at the age of 32, while living with her father and step-mother. Myrtie never married and taught school for her whole life.
Before I could complete the research on Myrtie, I was contacted by another diary collector that had also aquired some of her diaries. Not wanting to keep her diaries separated forever, I sent the two diaries that I had to this collector. I’m happy that Myrtie’s diaries can spend the future together.
